Assist in everyday duties alongside the lead teacher. Supervise and interact with the children throughout the day. Conduct learning activities using a set curriculum plan. Idea position for someone who wants to be promoted to lead teacher or possible site director.
30 hours per week.
Assist staff with everyday duties. Covers teachers during absences. Interacts with children during the day. Great position for a college student, a 2nd job that allows you to rest and recover before heading to the main job, a hobbyist, or just a way to make extra money.
10 - 30 hours per month.
Assist teachers in light daily duties such as cooking, straightening up around the preschool, lightweight cleaning after mealtimes. Supervise the children during activities. You would love this position if you are a retiree who finds being around little people invigorating yet still has plenty of time to enjoy retirement. A stay-at-home mom whose children are all school-aged, or someone looking for a 2nd job that has a low responsibility.
12 hours a week. 3 days a week.
