We value the health and well-being of our team members. We expect our team to be a step above the rest. To do so we aim to make sure we do our part to encourage happy and healthy lives for our family of preschool providers. With a lot of thought and heart, we have come up with a few perks to show how much we appreciate our staff members.
Here is a short summary of the perks we offer:
Weekly Pay – Paychecks go out every week
Paycheck bank deposit – Paycheck can be directly deposited into your bank account
Paid Sick Days - Paid sick days 3 days per year the first year prorated
Paid Holidays off – If your regular scheduled workday falls on a day the preschool is closed, you will receive full day’s pay for that holiday.
Weekends off – We are closed all weekends.
Paid training – If training has to be done during your normal scheduled workday, you will be paid your normal pay for that day of training.
Flexible work schedules that enhance life-work balance – Work schedules are part time allowing staff members to schedule important appointments, time off and other leisure activities without the stress of a work schedule. Work schedules allow the staff member to make up for days needing to be taking off while still making up for the total hours needed for the pay period.
Meals provided – We cook breakfast, lunch, and provide snacks for the children. We encourage staff members to eat with the children, if possible. If there is enough food to feed the children. There is usually plenty left over for staff to eat as well.
Promising promotions – As our program grows, we would like for our staff members to grow with our program. The idea is to promote staff members who are already familiar with our program rather than hire externally.
Voluntary benefits: Vision, dental, and life insurance – Our owner is a member of a new Non – For-Profit organization that is planning to offer benefits to the members and their employees. The benefits will include, health, vision, dental and life insurance at a discounted rate for employees to pay for out of pocket. We will have more information as the benefits package is ready to be introduced to our program.
