Step #2: View our Introduction Video
Once we receive your Pre-enrollment form, we will send the tuition quote and the link to watch a virtual tour of our preschool. The video will also introduce you to our owner and staff.
Step #3 Parent/ Provider Meeting
An invitation will be sent to parents to set an appointment to meet the staff. This meeting is scheduled after business hours. The purpose is to meet the owner and staff, address any concerns, and go over some important policies. This meeting usually lasts about 45 minutes. We will have snacks and toys to keep your little ones busy while we talk. Once the meeting is scheduled, parents will be sent confirmation emails and text. Both parents and the preschool can cancel or reschedule if needed.
Cick HERE to reserve your meeting.
Step #4 Enrollment Packet
Once you are ready to enroll your children, you will fill out and turn in the Enrollment Package. This packet contains all enrollment forms. Parents may receive the packet at the interview for an Application Fee of $20 or download it online for free. The link will be given to parents after the meeting. All forms must be filled out for enrollment. Forms may be printed, signed and scanned to email or print off and return to the preschool. Childcare can not start until all forms are completely filled out and turned in. The forms will be reviewed. Parents will be informed if enrollment is accepted or denied.
Step #5 Enrollment Fee
Along with your Enrollment Packet, an Enrollment Fee will be due. This fee is equivalent to one week of attendance. The fee will be credited to your child's last week of attendance. The fee is due the Friday before your child's first day of attendance. All payements and fees are paid through our app. The purpose of this fee is to hold your spot, to buy supplies needed for your children, and for assurance that you are serious about your decision to enroll your child. If enrollment is denied, the enrollment fee will be refunded within the same week. The Enrollment Fee will be credited towards he last week of care when given the proper notice. It may be forfeited if proper notice isn't given or if terminated, or if the contract is voided by parents. This fee does not cover any delinquent payments intended as a way to catch up late payments or fees.
Once the Enrollment fee is paid, the spot for the child/ren will be held and the papers will be reviewed. The parents will be contacted to to inform if the enrollment was accepted or denied. If denied, the email will be sent out and the Enrollment fee will be refunded. The refund can take up to 10 business days. If accepted, the spot will not be held longer than 2 weeks.
STEP #6 First Weeks Payment is due. The payment for the 1st week will be due the Friday before the first day of attendance. All following payments are set up to reaccurr as pre-paid on Wednesdays, counting Monday through Friday for the following week of attendance.
STEP #7 Virtual Parent Orientation
Parents will be given a link t watch a 10 minute prerecorded orientation video. The video will give a brief recap of policies, explain what to have ready for the child's first day of preschool, and the adjustment week process. Parents are expected to watch that video before the child's first day of school.
The first 2 weeks of attendance will be the Adjustment Period. The parent signs an Adjustment Period Contract. This contract is a probationary period to make sure our program fits the needs of the child.
Below is a list of some behaviors we often monitor during those first 2 weeks:
- How well the child interacts with the other children.
- If the child experiences separation anxiety. How long does the child's sadness last within each new day?
- Are we able to support the child's emotional needs?
- Does the child respect the staff, children, self, other parents, and preschool property?
- Can the child adjust to daily routines without causing much distraction or disorder?
- How well does the parent receive information from the staff?
- Does the parent give positive feedback when speaking with the staff?
- Are we able to ease the parents' separation anxiety?
- Does the parent get involved in helping the child adjust to the new environment?
- Does the parent respect the polices such as drop off and pick up, making payment on time and in full, making sure the child is well-rested and healthy enough to have a balanced day?
If anytime during the first 2 weeks the parent decides to end the contract, they may do so with a written notice.
Rashawn has the same right to end the contract with written notice. Any time paid for but not used will be refunded along with any money paid towards the Enrollment Fee. Parents will be informed before the 9th day if the child will be accepted or denied enrollment.
When children are accepted they will be placed on the roster and a Welcome Package which includes copies of enrollment forms and policy descriptions will be sent to you.
