We've listed a summary of the policies that are frequently discussed.
To ensure that we continue to provide high-quality care, we require all fees to be paid in full and on time. Please note that if your child is absent, arrives late, or leaves early, you are still expected to pay for that day. Children who attend part-time, occasional, or short-term care are still expected to pay for the days they are scheduled to attend.
There is no credit for the days closed.
Holidays:
We are closed for major holidays. We reserve the Monday following holidays that fall on a Sunday. There are no credits for holidays, so we are closed.
Provider Paid Time Off:
Rashawn can take up to 25 paid vacation days, three sick days, and three bereavement days per death throughout the year. The preschool will be closed unless a substitute teacher can work in her absence.
Late Arrival / Early Leave:
Children will not receive any credit for late arrival or early leave.
Overtime Fee (A.k.a Late Pickup Fee):
If a child is still present at the preschool after 5:35 p.m., a $5 overtime fee will be added to the weekly payment for every 15-minute increment. However, a 5-minute grace period will be granted in case of advanced notification of at least 30 minutes.
Closed for the Winter Break:
The preschool is closed during the last two weeks of the year, generally between Christmas and New Year's.
Tuition Due Date:
Tuition is set up as autopay and due every Friday before 5:30 pm.
Tuition Pay Periods:
All payments that are due on Friday are pre-paid and credited towards the following week.
Late Tuition Payments:
If a payment is received after the due date, a late payment fee of $10 will be added for each day it is late. The child/ren will not be permitted into preschool until payment is made in full.
Voided Contract:
Failure to pay the total amount due within 14 consecutive business days will result in the parent voiding the contract.
At our school, we take the safety and well-being of your child seriously. While it is common for children to fall ill while attending school, we have implemented stringent measures to reduce the risk of exposure. We prioritize proper hygiene by maintaining constant hand washing, disinfecting and sanitizing all equipment as required by the state, and teaching children how to cover coughs and sneezes. We also provide over-the-counter medications only with the parent's approval. Any child with a contagious illness such as the flu, coronavirus, COVID-19, or chickenpox will be excluded from childcare to prevent the spread of germs. Thanks to our smaller group size, we can provide individual attention to your child and minimize the spread of germs.
If a child shows these symptoms at preschool, the parent will be called, and a doctor's examination may be required before the child returns.
Some of those symptoms are as such but not limited to:
There are no credits given for early pickup or absences due to illness.
We teach children how to embrace acceptable behaviors through direction and modeling. We encourage them to learn various behavioral skills with problem-solving, self-expression, self-respect, and respecting others.
In case of unacceptable behavior, we follow a 6-point system for discipline,
Our goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
Childcare may be terminated for the following reasons: (Not limited to.)
